Information and communication technology (ICT) plays a significant role in facilitating communication. For example, in the past, our parents would send letters through the mail.

However, thanks to ICT, we can now easily communicate with loved ones using cell phones, even if they are far away. For example, I have used ICT tools to stay in touch with my family abroad, which has helped me maintain our relationship despite the distance.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Despite being criticized by national hero Jose Rizal for adopting the colonizers' habit of taking siestas and being indolent, Filipinos are known for their hard work and willingness to put in extra hours. However, finding a job can be challenging, especially for students.

I applied for a typing job that I could manage easily and which helped me financially support my family. However, ICT has made it easier to find work that can be done from home and apply for jobs at companies through the Internet.

EDUCATION

Incorporating ICT in education has enhanced the teaching and learning experience by making it more effective. In addition, it has introduced a new dimension to learning that was not previously available.

Students have found learning in a technology-enhanced environment more stimulating and engaging than in traditional classrooms.
