On November 10th, a Korean news article appeared in which the head of the Ministry of Culture & Tourism described the 2NE1 members as “the most popular female K-pop singers in the world.”
I was wondering if 2ne1 can really speak English, since their fans are always complaining about the translation, and they didn’t even try to learn the language well. I’m sure that if they actually tried, they would be good at speaking English.

There is a lot of buzz around BTS. There is a group of people who love the group so much that they want to learn Korean. A group of Koreans who want to learn English. The K-POP BTS fan clubs are pretty amazing.
It makes me wonder why other K-Pop groups don’t have fans in the U.S. who would be interested in learning the language. They might learn to speak Korean as well. Maybe this isn’t a “Can 2NE1 members speak English?” post.
Maybe it’s a “Why isn’t there a BTS fan club in the US?” post. Whatever it is, there is so much buzz around BTS, that they have a dedicated K-pop group in the US, dedicated to learning Korean.
